Police are investigating to determine the cause of his injuries but cannot rule out the possibilities of a medical incident, an assault or being hit by a car.

“Officers from Ku-ring-gai Police Area Command have established a crime scene along Fiddens Wharf Rd,” NSW police said in a statement on Wednesday morning.

“Traffic will be impacted around the intersection with Cook Rd and motorists are urged to avoid the area.

“Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Hornsby Police or Crime Stoppers.”
