Driver slammed for ‘entitled’ park at popular beachside suburb
Locals have taken aim at the driver behind a terrible park during peak morning traffic at a popular Sydney beach.
Fury has broken out over a terrible display of parking in the heart of a beachside suburb on a peak morning when options were few and far between.
The driver of a black Mercedes-Benz was slammed after a photo of their vehicle taking up two bays in Coogee, in Sydney’s east, on Saturday morning surfaced on social media.
The vehicle was captured parked askew on Carr Street – one of the closest rows of parking bays to the beach.
It was parked so far over the dividing line that another car could not fit in.
The photo was shared on Facebook with the caption, “Busy Saturday morning, entitled or what”.
Other locals agreed the act was particularly selfish in the idyllic conditions.
“Vile people," one person wrote in a comment.
Someone else felt the park was typical of a luxury car driver.
“Eastern suburbs Merc driver, no explanation needed,” they wrote.
“Don’t those cars have cameras to help you reverse park,” another said.
The car appeared to have a NSW Mobility Parking Scheme permit in its windscreen.
“Disability sticker. Probably an elderly driver who’s just a bad parker,” one wrote.
