Two adults are in hospital after a car crashed into a daycare in suburban Sydney on Thursday.

A car has crashed into a daycare centre in southwestern Sydney, leaving two women in hospital.

It’s understood no children were injured in the crash that happened in the suburb of Wattle Grove about 5.30pm.

A woman in her 20s and a woman in her 60s have been taken to Liverpool Hospital.

Images from the scene show a hatchback had mounted the kerb, gone across a footpath and lawn outside the Wattle Grove Long Day Care Centre on Burdekin Court.

The car then struck a hedge and came to rest against the building.

7News reports the crash may have been caused by a medical incident.

NSW Police and the ambulance service have been approached for comment.

The condition of the two people taken to hospital is not known at this point.
