Boy, 14, missing from Sydney for nearly two weeks
The boy was last seen at a home in the city’s southwest earlier this month, but has since disappeared without a trace.
A teenage boy has disappeared without a trace after leaving his home almost two weeks ago, with “serious concerns” for his welfare.
Brodie Brien, 14, has not been seen by loved ones since about midday on May 2 when he was at a house in Bankstown in Sydney’s southwest.
He was reported missing and all attempts to locate or contact him have failed.
“Police hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his age,” NSW Police said in a statement.
Brodie is described as being about 150-160cm tall, with a slim build, short blonde hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, black pants and black and white shoes.
Police say he is known to frequent the Wollongong, Prestons, Liverpool and Blacktown areas.
On social media, people have expressed shock at the length of time Brodie has been missing and urged him to come forward.
“Hope he’s home ASAP safely, two weeks too long,” one person wrote.
“Praying for this beautiful boy,” another said.
Anyone with information urged to call Bankstown police or Crime Stoppers.
