It’s unclear at this stage if the child was injured at a home or elsewhere, and how far they had fallen.

The Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was called in to transport a specialist doctor to the scene, who, along with paramedics, treated the boy as they travelled by road ambulance to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

It’s understood the boy suffered head injuries in the fall, and remains in hospital in a stable condition.
