Baby and two women suffer serious injuries after vehicle flips
A baby is in a critical condition and two women are seriously injured after the vehicle they were in ran off the road and flipped over in northern NSW.
A five-month-old baby boy is in a critical condition and two women have been seriously injured in a single-vehicle car accident in northern NSW on Monday.
According to police, the vehicle they were in left the roadway, collided with a fence and flipped shortly before 1:30pm.
The crash occurred on Wallanbah Road, Firefly – roughly 36km west of Forster.
The 27-year-old driver, her 46-year-old passenger and the baby boy all suffered serious injuries.
They were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and flown to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle.
The women remain in a serious condition.
A crime scene has been established and other motorists are advised to avoid the area of the crash.
