Two 17-year-old boys have been hit by a car in Sydney, leaving one dead and one injured.
Two 17-year-old boys have been hit by a car in Sydney’s northwest, with one tragically dying and the other hospitalised.
Emergency services were called to the shocking scene at Rembrandt Street in Carlingford at about 11.20am on Thursday.
NSW Ambulance treated the teens but one sadly died at the scene. The other was taken to Westmead Hospital.
The driver of the car was a 90-year-old woman, who was also taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing.
At least two fire trucks and an ambulance were on scene, with photos showing flattened bushes and other debris next to a footpath.
Police said the crime scene would be examined by specialist officers and they are urging witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
