Man critical after fall from Meriton Hotel in Bondi, Sydney

Emergency services rushed to the scene during peak hour in Bondi.

A man is fighting for life after a fall from a hotel in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

The incident happened about 5pm on Thursday, at the Meriton Suites in Bondi Junction.

NSW Police described the incident as one of self-harm.

A police spokesperson said they would not be making any further comment.

Emergency services attended the scene, where the man had suffered serious injuries.

It is understood the man also suffered cardiac arrest as paramedics treated him at the scene.
