A woman and two children have fled a home and a man is in custody after a two-and-a-half hour stand-off with police in Sydney’s inner west.

A man is in custody after a two-and-a-half hour stand-off with police in a Croydon Park home.

Authorities were called to a home on Croydon Ave in Sydney’s inner west about 8am Sunday morning following reports of a domestic violence-related argument.

NewsWire understands a woman and two children who live at the home had left the premises before police arrived.

Police created a perimeter while specialist police spoke to the man, who had barricaded himself in the home for two-and-a-half hours.

NSW Police confirmed the man was taken into custody about 10.25 Sunday morning.

No injuries have been reported.
