Woman found dead, man injured at Pullman Hotel in Sydney

A woman has been found dead and a man has been rushed to hospital with critical injuries after the pair were found at a hotel in Sydney’s west.

A woman has been found dead at a hotel in Sydney’s west while a man was rushed to hospital.

The woman was found at the Pullman Hotel in Penrith about 1.10pm Sunday.

A man was also found with cuts to his arms in the same room as the woman’s body.

The man in his 50s was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was flown to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

He is under police guard.

The woman has yet to be formally identified.

A crime scene has been established, with local detectives and the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad set to investigate.

Police have urged anyone with information to come forward.
