Police hunt men who allegedly posed as rideshare drivers to sexually assault woman
Police are seeking the public’s help after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by two men who posed as rideshare drivers.
A woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by two men who posed as rideshare drivers, NSW Police say.
The 27-year-old woman was driven from Sydney’s Bondi Junction to Wolli Creek in a silver Kia Sportage at around 2am on April 1 this year.
The men allegedly took her inside a unit in an apartment complex, where she was sexually assaulted and later released.
Afterwards, the incident was reported to police, who released images of the two men they believe can assist with their investigation.
Detectives also established Strike Force Wannamurra to investigate the incident.
Both men are described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, aged in their 30s and about 160cm tall with a medium build.
The first man has black hair and a black beard and was last seen wearing a blue jumper with a white and red logo on the rear of the collar.
The second man has black hair worn in a bun and a beard. He was wearing a white hooded jumper with a “Nike” logo on the back and jeans.
Anyone with information on the men is urged to contact police.
