Penrith man charged with committing act of cruelty after kicking trainee dog
A man from Sydney’s west has been charged after he allegedly kicked a trainee guide dog on Thursday morning.
A man has been charged after allegedly kicking a trainee guide dog in Sydney’s west on Thursday morning.
Before 10am on Thursday, police were called to High Street in Penrith following reports about a dog being kicked by an unknown man.
The dog has since been taken to a vet for assessment, and police were told the dog was being trained by a professional at the time of the cowardly attack.

A 53-year-old man was arrested by officers from Nepean Police Area.
He was taken to Penrith Police Station where he was charged with commit an act of cruelty upon an animal.
The man was refused bail, and is now due to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Friday.
