One charged after couple stabbed with kitchen knife left hospitalised
Police investigations continue after a man and woman were hospitalised following a stabbing attack with a kitchen knife at a NSW home.
Two people have been hospitalised after a NSW man allegedly attacked them with a kitchen knife.
The suspect entered the Wagga Road home in Lavington, near the Victoria-NSW border, at about 8pm on Friday and first stabbed a 38-year-old woman, according to NSW Police.
A 44-year-old man, known to the female victim, was then allegedly attacked by two men at the front of the home.
He was taken to Albury Hospital — where he remains under police guard — after sustaining multiple stab wounds.
The woman was also treated in Albury Hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
A crime scene was set up around the home following the attack.
Officers later arrested a 19-year-old man at an Eastern Circuit home in East Albury.
He was charged with reckless wounding in company and was refused bail to appear at Albury Local Court on Monday.
