A nurse has pleaded guilty to her role in a botched boob job that saw a beauty salon owner die in hospital two days after the surgery.
A nurse has pleaded guilty over her role in a fatal, botched breast enlargement procedure performed on a Sydney beauty salon owner.
Chinese woman Yueqiong Fu on Friday admitted recklessly administering bags of anaesthetic to endanger life and lying to investigators after Jean Huang underwent a breast filler operation at a Chippendale hospital in August 2017 and died in hospital two days later.
She will be sentenced later on Friday in Sydney’s Downing Centre District Court. The first offence carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in jail, though Fu’s early plea entitles her to a 25 per cent discount.
Fu had previously been charged with manslaughter.
