Molly Ticehurst’s accused murderer faces fresh charges

The man accused of the domestic violence murder of a childcare worker is facing new sexual assault charges.

The man accused of the domestic violence murder of Molly Ticehurst in central west NSW has been hit with new sexual assault charges.

Daniel Billings, 29, is accused of murdering the 28-year-old childcare worker who was found dead in her home in Forbes on April 22.

He is charged with Ms Ticehurst’s murder, breaching an apprehended violence order and failing to comply with bail conditions.

Mr Billings was on bail at the time over charges relating to his former partner Ms Ticehurst, including four counts of stalking and intimidation, three counts of sexual intercourse without consent and animal cruelty.

He now faces four fresh charges, including one count of threatening bodily harm, sexual intercourse without consent and two counts of recklessly damaging property.

Mr Billings will also undergo a mental assessment ahead of next appearance at Parkes Local Court on March 21.
