Man arrested over teen stabbing in western Sydney
A man has been charged with attempted murder after an alleged stabbing of a teenager in Sydney, which left the victim in a critical condition.
A man has been refused bail and will appear in court tomorrow after being charged with attempted murder following an alleged stabbing of another man in Sydney’s west last month.
At about 9.20am on July 11 police say officers were called to a home on Boronia Street, South Granville following reports of a stabbing.
When they arrived they found an 18-year-old man suffering stab wounds to his upper body. He was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
The man remains in Westmead Hospital and continues to recover in hospital.
At about 9.15am today, detectives went to a unit in Tintern Avenue, Telopea in northwest Sydney and arrested an 18-year-old man.
He was taken to Granville Police Station and charged. He was refused bail and will appear before Parramatta Local Court tomorrow.
