Inside alleged killer cop Beau Lamarre-Condon’s lavish double life

A celebrity-obsessed cop charged with murdering a TV star and his boyfriend flaunted his seemingly lavish, jet-setting lifestyle online.

Senior Constable Beau Lamarre-Condon’s carefully curated Instagram feed regularly featured photographs of him alongside private jets, holding designer bags and lounging in exotic locations.

To his 24,000-odd social media followers it appeared he was part of Sydney’s ultra-elite, but colleagues in the NSW Police Force were left baffled by the source of his apparent wealth.

“A lot of other students, including myself, had questions as to how he had the means and income,” one former officer who trained alongside Lamarre-Condon at the NSW police academy in Goulburn told the Daily Mail.

A man who briefly dated the alleged killer also added it “made no sense” given his salary was likely less than $90,000 a year.

“It made no sense that he could afford $100k+ holidays and a $100k car,” he told the publication. “He was always quite secretive about where the money came from.”

In a strange development, it’s believed the accused killer was also the victim of identity theft, with a sex worker’s website describing him as a French escort offering erotic massages.

“Stately and handsome elite gigolo,” the seemingly fake profile, listed under the name Marcel, reads.

“He likes to take care of himself, so he always looks presentable, stylish and has a pumped-up body.

“He travels a lot around the world, knows languages, goes to restaurants and nightclubs. Provides services to wealthy girls. Guarantees confidentiality and a lot of vivid impressions.”

The profile wrongly lists his age as 34, says he speaks three languages and lives in Bolivia.

In one photograph shared on the escort site, he is seen standing topless in the Italian town of Portofino, while another appears to show him sitting inside a private jet alongside a Hermes bag and blanket.

In addition to Lamarre-Condon’s luxury lifestyle, the constable tried to rub shoulders with the world’s rich and famous.

The senior constable was able to track down A-listers, including Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Harry Styles in recent years.

Just days before the alleged double murder, he was reportedly spotted chasing down Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker in a grey Tesla for a selfie.

Bodies found after constable charged with two counts of murder

Lamarre-Condon was charged with the murder of Channel 10 star Jesse Baird and his Qantas flight attendant partner Luke Davies.

Police believe the pair were shot dead at Mr Baird’s Paddington home on February 19.

Deputy Commissioner David Hudson said police would allege that a bullet cartridge found at the scene was from a glock pistol that had been signed out from Miranda on Thursday.

“The gun we know was signed out from Miranda Police Station, where it is normally stored, last Thursday for the purposes of participating in a user pay event, which is not unusual,” Deputy Commissioner Hudson said.

“Post the incident, we believe the gun may have been stored at Balmain Police Station … before being returned to Miranda the following day.”

There is currently an investigation into whether the gun was legally checked out the entire time.

Mr Baird and Mr Davies’ bodies were found on Tuesday stuffed inside surfboard bags and buried in a shallow grave on a remote farm in Bungonia near Goulburn, about 160km south-west of Sydney.

Karen Webb, commissioner of the New South Wales Police Force, said the discovery of the couple’s bodies was made with information provided by Lamarre-Condon.

He had previously refused to co-operate, police claim, but finally did so after advice from a lawyer.

Investigators interviewed him again on Tuesday morning at Silverwater Prison, when police say he revealed their location.

Police found the bodies three hours later, by about 1pm, in two surf bags.

“The accused finally obtained legal counsel this morning, and we were subsequently straight out to jail and asked for his assistance,” Assistant Commissioner Fitzgerald said this week.

“There was an attempted interview with him [when he was first arrested], but this is the first time he has willingly told us information.”
