Hunt on for armed men who stormed home with baby inside
Police are on the hunt for four men after they allegedly stormed a home in Sydney’s west with two women and a two-month-old baby inside.
Police are looking for four men who allegedly stormed a home in Bankstown armed with a firearm and a knife in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to a unit on Meredith St about 12.40am and were told four unknown men forced their way into the home after a resident answered a knock at the door.
The men allegedly threatened the two female residents, aged 56 and 22, and a two-month-old baby with weapons and stole alcohol and cash from the home.
The group then fled the scene in a car.
None of the residents were physically injured in the midnight attack. Police have established a crime scene and begun a forensic examination of the scene.
