Police responded to reports of a fight involving between 20 and 30 people about 10.50pm on February 9 at Central Station near the Elizabeth St entrance
The group allegedly assaulted each other and set off flares, with the group dispersing before police arrived.
No injuries were reported.
Police have released images and descriptions of people they believe may be able to assist in the investigation.
The first man (Person A) was described as being short and of average build with a caucasian appearance, as well as having a half-sleeve tattoo on his right and left bicep areas.
He was wearing black Adidas shorts with white stripes down the side and a logo along with black shoes, a black T-shirt, and a black Adidas bumbag with a white logo on the front.
Person B was described as being of caucasian appearance with a thin build, short hair and a tattoo on his right bicep area.
He was wearing black Adidas shoes with white stripes, blue jeans and a black T-shirt with white text on the front.
Person C was described as Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance with a large build, short brown hair and a mullet.
He was wearing a black jumper, grey shirt and shorts.
The fourth man (Person D) was described as having a large build and of caucasian appearance, with a black T-shirt, green shorts, white shoes, black hat with the North Face logo, and a bumbag with white writing on the front.
Person E was described as having a caucasian appearance with a thin build and short black hair.
He was wearing black trackpants, a black jumper, grey shoes and a black bandana over his face.
Person F, also described as caucasian appearance, was described as of average height and medium build.
He was wearing a navy blue puffer jacket, black pants, sunglasses on the back of his head and black Nike shoes with white soles and shoelaces.
The seventh man (Person G) was described as having a short, large build with a Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance.
He was wearing a black jumper with white text on the front, black pants and all black shoes.
Person H was described as being of caucasian appearance with a thin build, and was wearing a black hooded jumper with black shorts and black and grey New Balance shoes.
Police are set to address the media on Monday morning following the incident.
Anyone with information has been urged to come forward.
