Childcare worker charged with indecent assault of children
A man will face court on Monday charged with the indecent assault of two children at the childcare centre he was previously employed at.
A 28-year-old man has been charged with assaulting three children while working at a Canberra daycare facility.
Police were notified of the alleged assaults by two of the child’s parents earlier this month.
The Scullin man will face court on Monday charged with the indecent assault of two children and common assault of one other during his employment at the childcare facility.
His employment at the childcare facility had recently been terminated.
The man was arrested on Sunday following an investigation by the ACT Police sexual assault and child abuse team.
Support is being provided to the daycare facility and the families involved in the matter.
