16-year-old ‘sexually touched’ on bus travelling from Coffs Harbour to Sydney

A man will face court today after allegedly sexually touching a girl on a bus travelling from Coffs Harbour to Sydney.

A sixteen-year-old girl has allegedly been sexually assaulted on a NSW bus.

The girl was travelling on a bus near Bulahdelah, on the mid-North Coast, on Friday when she was allegedly sexually touched by a man.

A police investigation led to a 24-year-old being arrested when the bus arrived in Sydney about 7.30am.

He was taken to Day Street Police Station in central Sydney and charged with sexually touching another person without consent.

The man was refused bail and will appear at Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
