Police were called to Leonard Reserve in Roselands, in Sydney’s south west, at 9.50pm on Thursday following reports of a fight.
They found a 24-year-old suffering multiple stab wounds.
He died at the scene.
Three days after the deadly brawl, a 17-year-old went to hospital for a hand injury.
He was arrested on Saturday and taken to Campsie Police Station, where he was charged with affray and hindering an investigation into a serious indictable offence.
The teen was refused bail, and is due to appear in a Children’s Court on Sunday.
Investigations into the 24-year-old’s death are ongoing and a strike force has been established as detectives continue their inquiries.
