A MAN defecated in the back of a police truck and smeared the faeces on its walls before writing offensive words in the faeces after being arrested by officers.

The man, 32, is also alleged to have written the words “Fag” and “I’ve eaten curry, you can choke on that” in the faeces.

He had been detained by Camden police on Tuesday night after they saw cannabis plants growing in the rear yard of a home in Tahmoor about 3.30pm that afternoon.

Police also found an amount of cannabis and a rifle in the loungeroom of the home on Thirlmere Way.

Officers had gone to the home in relation to concerns for a female at the location.

The man was taken to Narellan police station and charged with malicious damage, cultivating cannabis, possessing an unregistered firearm and possessing cannabis.

He is due to face court at a date to be advised.
