A SYDNEY man who allegedly used the pseudonym ‘The Wolf’ on an adult website has denied raping a woman in Kings Cross.
A SYDNEY man who allegedly used the pseudonym ‘The Wolf’ on a specialist adult networking website has denied raping a woman while causing her physical harm in Kings Cross.
Liam Gordon Murphy, 41, of Little Bay is charged with two counts of having sexual intercourse without the woman’s consent in circumstances of aggravation — in that he caused her actual bodily harm at the time.
He is also charged with attempted aggravated sexual assault on the same occasion in August last year.
Police allege they met at a Kings Cross hotel after first making contact on a specialist adult social networking website where he used the pseudonym The Wolf.
Murphy appeared in Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday, where his lawyer Charles Waterstreet entered not guilty pleas on his behalf.
The case was adjourned to January 31 with Murphy, whose bail was continued, excused from attending if legally represented.
