THE younger brother of the Deputy Leader of the NSW Liberal Party, Dominic Perrottet, has pleaded not guilty to three counts of sexual intercourse without consent against a young woman, following a formal after-party at St John’s College at The University of Sydney in 2015.

Appearing in the District Court, Jean-Claude Perrottet, 20, denied he was guilty of repeatedly sexually assaulting the young woman on the grounds of the residential college, after being invited as a guest to the St John’s College Annual Formal.

The alleged victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was a student from the University of Sydney.

She and Mr Perrottet met on the evening of the alleged rapes, at the formal after-party where they kissed.

Mr Perrottet is accused of raping the woman both digitally and vaginally in a leafy area of the college grounds, before inserting his penis into her mouth.

According to the prosecution the alleged victim told Perrottet “no” and “stop”.

She then left the area to return to her room, and friends of the young woman contacted the police, the court heard.

Mr Perrottet has been charged with three counts of sexual intercourse without consent.

His defence team argue that any sexual contact that occurred was consensual.

He was not a student of Sydney University at the time of the alleged offences.

Mr Perrottet is the younger brother of Liberal MP, Dominic Perrottet, who is the Member for Hawkesbury and Minister for Industrial Relations in the Berejiklian Government.

The trial is expected to last three weeks.
