A MAN charged with high-range drink-driving after a motorised Esky was driven up and down Camden’s Argyle St on Australia Day has had his case mentioned in Picton Local Court earlier today.
James Wallace, 21, of Elderslie, has not entered a plea to the charge and the matter has been adjourned to return to court on April 11.
Highway Patrol officers stopped Wallace on Australia Day at 7.30pm near a pedestrian crossing on Argyle St.
Police will allege he recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.162, almost three times the legal limit.
