Alleged double murderer Beau Lamarre-Condon has been officially removed from the NSW Police as he awaits his next court appearance.

Police allege he used his service revolver to shoot the men before disposing of their bodies at a rural property at Bungonia, two hours southwest of Sydney.

On Friday, NSW Police released a statement saying Mr Lamarre-Condon had been ”removed”.

“An off-duty police officer charged with two counts of murder in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs has been removed today from the NSW Police Force,” the statement read.

“Under section 181D of the Police Act 1990, the Commissioner has the ability to remove officers if she has lost confidence in their suitability to continue as a police officer.”

The alleged murders of TV presenter Mr Baird and Qantas flight attendant Mr Davies on Monday, February 19 shocked the community and sparked an outpouring of grief.

It will be alleged in court Mr Lamarre-Condon, who previously had intimate encounters with Mr Baird, plotted to kill the former Channel 10 star.

Police allege Mr Lamarre-Condon displayed an “escalating” pattern of stalking Mr Baird before he allegedly carried out the murders.

Mr Davies, it will be alleged, was also killed because he was at Mr Baird’s home when the former police officer arrived.

Mr Lamarre-Condon was a celebrity blogger before joining the police, and was serving as a senior constable in the youth command at the time of his arrest.

He was scheduled to work the week of the alleged murders but allegedly called in sick as he attempted to cover his tracks.

Following his arrest on February 23, it will be alleged in court Mr Lamarre-Condon gave investigators information that led to the discovery of Mr Baird and Mr Davies’ bodies stuffed in surfboard bags at the rural property.

Commissioner Karen Webb revealed on February 28 that Mr Lamarre-Condon had been served with a show cause notice ahead as she moved to have him dismissed.

“We’re in this position that a police firearm was used and that can never happen again,” she said earlier in March.

Under the legislation Ms Webb used to remove the alleged killer, the decision has the same affect as if Mr Lamarre-Condon had “resigned” from the force.

Mr Lamarre-Condon is yet to enter a plea to the two charges of murder and will next face court in April.
