Aussie star Simon Baker pleads guilty to drink-driving
Australian actor Simon Baker has pleaded guilty to drink-driving after his matter came before a northern NSW court for the first time on Wednesday.

The 55-year-old was charged with two offences – driving a vehicle under influence of alcohol and attempting to drive while under the influence of alcohol.
He was released without bail conditions before his matter was mentioned before Mullumbimby Local Court for the first time on Wednesday.
He pleaded guilty to one count of driving a vehicle under influence of alcohol.
As well, prosecutors withdrew one count of attempting to drive under the influence of alcohol.
He will now be sentenced at Mullumbimby Local Court later this month.
Baker earnt himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his portrayal of Patrick Jane in The Mentalist between 2008 and 2015.
Most recently, he was nominated for a TV Week Logie Award and 11 other awards for his leading role in the Netflix drama, Boy Swallows Universe.
Baker spent much of his youth in the NSW northern rivers region and owns a property in Nashua near Byron Bay.
Baker will appear in court for sentencing on September 11.
