14yo girl missing for five days after leaving home with no phone or cash

The 14-year-old’s aunt has sent out a desperate call for help after the girl went missing for seemingly no reason.

The family of a 14-year-old girl is growing increasingly concerned almost five days after she went missing in Sydney.

Aaliyah Martin has not been heard from or seen since she left her Sutherland Shire home sometime between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Thursday.

Her aunt Danielle has shared frantic posts on social media, asking anyone who sees her to call police or contact her directly.

“There was no catalyst for her leaving – everything was going well (as well as it can with a teenager!) – she just left,” she posted on Facebook on Sunday afternoon.

It is understood that Aaliyah was in the company of two girls and one boy; however, he has since returned to his family.

It is not known if all three girls remain missing.

“She left with no phone, no cash and the clothes on her back,” Danielle wrote.

She has reportedly been sighted in posts made to the social media platform Snapchat, but her family have no idea how she is accessing the app without her phone.

“We have no idea how or what to do next,” her aunt said.

“We are greatly concerned (because of) her age, lack of funds, clothes and her mental health issues.

“We would really just like her home.”

Her aunt has asked for locals to have their “ears to the ground” and if anyone sees her to contact police or message her and pass the information on directly.
