FOUR teens crashed an allegedly stolen car into the fence of a Woodroffe property after attempting to flee police.

Two boys, aged 15 and 16, were arrested at 2am in Castor Crt, Woodroffe after allegedly stealing a car from a Zuccoli property on Tuesday. Two other individuals who fled the vehicle weren’t apprehended.

An NT Police spokeswoman said police arrested one youth while a member of the public apprehended a second.

She said police sighted the vehicle and pursued it along Temple Tce before the vehicle crashed into the fence.

She said the two teens currently in custody hadn’t been charged.

Investigations are ongoing.
