More than 2110 women crawled through the mud pits, unsuccessfully tried to dodge the paint cannons, revelled in the foam pits and clambered over and under the obstacles in the annual Miss Muddy event yesterday.
The female only obstacle course went for 5km at the Hidden Valley Raceway and was a fundraiser for the McGrath Foundation.

Part of the Muddy Budjus team, Amelia Dickson said her group of 31 were supporting their late friend.
“We’re doing it for Candace (McLean), our friend who passed away from cancer,” Ms Dickson said.
“It’s been a really good day so far, and we’ve all been raising extra money for the McGrath Foundation.”
Highlights of the obstacle course included the mudpits, paint cannons, jelly baths and waterslides, though few people enjoyed the ice baths.
“It’s all about being with these girls, having fun, challenging yourself and really enjoying the day,” participant Jess Sangster said.
