Nine businesses were targeted in a series of ram raids in the greater Darwin area overnight.
Senior Sergeant Rob Jordan said a stolen Nissan Altima was used to break into businesses at the Wagaman shops, the northern suburbs and Palmerston.
“Strike Force Trident detectives have two alleged offenders in custody, who are assisting police with inquiries,” he said.
The Altima was stolen from an address in Durack on July 25.
