A Woolworths worker who was stabbed as she stacked shelves has broken her silence.

Donna Grocott, 44, was rushed to hospital with the 40cm filleting knife still in her back after she was attacked at the supermarket in Ellenbrook, Western Australia, on Tuesday afternoon.

Her finger was also badly cut during the assault.

Ms Grocott, who is now recovering at home, said she felt “incredibly lucky” to be alive.

“I’d like to thank the people who helped me at the store and the emergency responders and the hospital staff for taking care of me,” she told 7 News.

“I feel very fortunate that my injuries were not worse.”

Ms Grocott is traumatised by the work and is unsure if she will return to work at the store.

Cassandra Hickling, 35, has been charged with attempted murder and faced Midland Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Her social media accounts, which have since been taken down, displayed many photos of her feet and she appeared to sell images on OnlyFans under the username Footsiegonerogue.

In some of the images, Hickling is wearing shoes, fishnet stockings or toe rings, while in others she is holding high heels.

She boasts of having “sexy” feet which are a size six.

According to her LinkedIn profile, she works as an environmental health officer.

Police said on Tuesday the victim did not know her alleged attacker and there was no prior interaction between them before the alleged incident.

“There was nothing said or anything to indicate that this was going to happen,” Midland Police Detective Sergeant Tania MacKenzie told reporters.

“(It is) something I’ve never heard of happening before in my career.

“It was just someone going about their day-to-day work, stacking shelves in the shopping centre.

“There’s been no one else in the aisle and she’s been approached by the suspect, who has [allegedly] stabbed her with a filleting knife.”
