A 16-year-old girl is among two people in hospital after a hotel shooting allegedly carried out by a young woman.

Two people are in hospital with serious injuries after being shot at a Queensland hotel.

At around 2.40pm on Tuesday, a 16-year-old girl and a 37-year-old woman were injured after another woman allegedly fired a single gunshot outside a hotel on Annand St in North Toowoomba.

The 16-year-old from Wyreema sustained a serious injury to her arm and was taken to a hospital in Brisbane in serious condition.

The 37-year-old woman, also from Wyreema, sustained injuries to her chest and arms and was taken to the Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

Queensland Police confirmed that both women were injured from the single shot.

An 18-year-old woman from North Toowoomba has been charged with firearm offences, including grievous bodily harm, wounding, and dangerous conduct with a weapon.

She is expected to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court later on Wednesday.

Queensland Police are appealing to members of the public who may have been in a walkway between Annand and Ruthven streets, known as Kwong Sang Walk, between 2.30pm and 2.45pm and seen anything suspicious.
