Police shoot man at Townsville service station
BREAKING: Police have shot a man at a North Queensland service station.
A MAN has been shot by police near a service station at Townsville in north Queensland.
It’s understood the man, aged in his 30s, has wounds to his legs and abdomen and has been taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Officers were called to an incident at the Hermit Park business about 4.20am on Monday.

A section of Charters Towers Road is closed while a crime scene investigation is carried out.
The investigation will be overviewed by the Ethical Standards Command, police said in a statement.
