Confronting brawl unfolds outside pub in WA’s north
Police are investigating after an ugly feud outside a popular pub in Western Australia was captured on video by an onlooker.
Confronting footage has surfaced of an ugly feud that broke out in broad daylight outside a pub in Western Australia’s north.
The altercation unfolded outside Broome’s Roebuck Bay Hotel before midday on Thursday with a male wearing a singlet filmed laying into a man about half his size.
The smaller of the men had earlier been heard telling a group of three men to “wait here, I’ll have three cars of my boys here for you”, The West Australian reported.
One of the three men then approached him before delivering him several forceful blows and wrestling him into a headlock.
The smaller man tumbled to the ground after being hit again, landing in the middle of the road’s median strip on his back.
The larger man held him in position for a few moments before hitting him another three times.
Before leaving, the man behind the punches appeared to deliver a slap across the face.
The beaten man eventually stood up and was captured stumbling down the road, narrowly avoiding toppling over from his injuries.
He was then seen approaching the pub where the man from earlier had retreated to, and within seconds was kicked to the ground.
