The man known as “TikTok guy” for predicting NSW’s daily virus numbers will face court next year for addressing an anti-lockdown rally in July.

Jon-Bernard Kairouz was listed to appear in the Downing Centre Local Court after not appearing in Bankstown Court last month when he and his father were admitted to a Covid-19 ward at Bankstown Hospital.

The court directed Mr Kairouz face a three-hour hearing in Sydney on June 22 next year, with the police brief on him yet to be served.

The 24-year-old TikTok star rose to fame for correctly predicting the NSW daily Covid case numbers.

Mr Kairouz dubbed himself the “people’s premier” during an impassioned speech at a Sydney anti-lockdown protest in July.

NSW Police later attended his Sydney home to charge him with two counts of not comply with noticed direction/Covid-19 and encourage commission of crime.

Mr Kairouz was released from St George Hospital in mid-September after being treated for Covid, although his father Richard’s condition is not currently known.

Mr Kairouz junior became known as “the TikTok guy” after repeatedly revealing the NSW Covid tally hours before then premier Gladys Berejiklian earlier this year.

His sensational five-day streak ended in July when he got the numbers wrong, and was suspected of having a leak from within the NSW Government.

But he made headlines days later when he was charged for giving a speech at Sydney’s anti-lockdown protest.

“All we want is freedom,” Mr Kairouz was filmed telling a crowd of more than 3000 protesters.

“I must say I’ve crunched the numbers, I don’t think the cases are going to go up tomorrow.

“From what I’ve calculated there’s over 50,000 people here today,” he claimed.

Bankstown Local Court heard last month the entertainer planned to fight the two charges by pleading not guilty.
