Details of Lambo Guy Adrian Portelli’s charges in South Australia
Court documents outlining the allegations against Aussie billionaire Adrian Portelli claim one simple alleged act sparked a raft of charges.
Australian billionaire Adrian Portelli “assisted” in the running of an allegedly unlawful lottery in South Australia by drawing out its winners, court documents allege.
Mr Portelli, 35, and his company Xclusive Tech Pty Ltd – trading as LMCT+ – were last week charged with 19 counts of assisting in the conduct of an unlawful lottery in the state.
Documents released to news.com.au reveal prizes subject to the charges include a Gisborne, Victoria home seen on the 2022 series of TV show The Block or $3m cash.

“The distribution of the major prize lottery involved an element of chance,” the documents state.
“The lottery was open to South Australian residents.
“The First Defendant (Xclusive Tech Pty Ltd) did not hold a licence to conduct the lottery in South Australia.”
The documents allege “Lambo Guy” Mr Portelli, the director of the company, assisted in the conduct of that January 29, 2023 event “by drawing the lottery”.
Mr Portelli faces nine similar counts, while his business faces 10 counts of the same offence.

The documents state the summary charges do not carry punishments of imprisonment or detention.
Other lotteries subject to the charges – dating from January 2023 to May 2024 – include:
– a Devil Yellow HSV VZ vehicle valued more than $5000 on February 10, 2023
– a Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series vehicle with a Barcrusher 670c, valued about $228,000 or a cash prize of $250,000 between November 7 and 10, 2023
– a $250,000 cash draw between November 21 and 23, 2023
– another Victorian property seen on The Block valued about $2.9m or a cash prize of $2.5m between November 29 and December 24, 2023
– a Charming St home in Hampton East, Victoria seen on The Block or a cash prize of $2m between February 14 and February 25, 2024
– $500,000 in cash between March 12 and March 15, 2024
– a 2022 Toyota LC79 vehicle, valued about $150,000 between April 30 and May 3, 2024
– a Holden HSV WM Grange valued about $40,000 between May 9 and May 14, 2024
– a Coomera Waters home on the Gold Coast, Queensland valued about $1.3m or $1.2m in cash between May 14 and May 16, 2024
The documents state that the charges were filed on November 27, alleging the events were contrary to section 10(1) of the Lotteries Act 2019 (SA).
Under South Australian law, a licence is required before any “major” lotteries – with prizes over $5000 – can begin or be advertised.
Mr Portelli is due to appear at Adelaide Magistrate’s Court on January 15, 2025.
After news broke of the charges brought by Consumer and Business Service on Thursday, the Melbourne-based Mr Portelli posted to social media.
“It’s okay SA we still love you,” he wrote.
“Your gambling commissioner won’t allow you to win major life-changing prizes so I’ve decided to run exclusive, DAILY $1000 cash giveaways to you guys instead.
“We still love you and I’ll definitely be visiting to do more grocery voucher handouts.”
