Close call at Sydney Airport as Erica Packer and Miranda Kerr almost cross paths

AWKIES were narrowly averted at Sydney Airport this morning when James Packer’s ex Erica jetted in as his rumoured lover Miranda Kerr flew out.

DISASTER was narrowly averted at Sydney Airport this morning as James Packer’s ex Erica Baxter and rumoured love interest Miranda Kerr almost crossed paths.

Baxter was flying in from Los Angeles, where she has been based since splitting from the casino tycoon last year.

Even with a child on her hip, the 36-year-old, who has been romantically linked with actor Kick Gurry, looked fabulous in a long fluffy white jacket.

Erica Baxter, the former wife of James Packer, landed in Sydney this morning.

Kerr also cut a glamorous figure in the departure lounge, with a form-fitting beaded jacket, hair pulled back and a pair of over-sized sunglasses.

Neither woman has commented about the brawl between James Packer and David Gyngell in Bondi on Sunday, despite both of them being mentioned in connection with the fight.

James Packer apparently believed a Channel 9 truck parked outside his Campbell Parade apartment had been sent to spy on him and Kerr, while Erica Packer was also seen as a source of tension between the two men, as Gyngell had stayed friendly with her after the split from James.

Kerr has denied claims she is romantically linked to the billionaire, telling Sunday Style magazine she is “not in a relationship with anyone”.

Rumours that the pair has started seeing each other started up in December last year, just months after both split from their respective partners.
