Tourist stable after Uluru rescue
A TAIWANESE tourist seriously injured after falling into a crevice at Uluru has had his condition downgraded form critical to stable.
A TAIWANESE tourist winched from Uluru with multiple injuries after spending more than 24 hours trapped in a crevice is recovering in hospital in a stable condition.
THE 27-year-old on Friday was flown to Alice Springs hospital with hypothermia, head injuries, fractures to his pelvis and several limbs after he fell into the crevice after getting separated from two female companions and taking an alternative route back to base.
