Steve Waugh raises rare disease awareness

RENEE Eliades has a rare disease, a form of dwarfism, and says the Steve Waugh Foundation has been a "huge help" in living her life.

RENEE Eliades, a 23-year-old trapped in the body of a three-year-old, can now breathe easier thanks to former cricket captain Steve Waugh.

MS Eliades has geleophysic dysplasia, a form of dwarfism, and is dependent, among many things, on bottled oxygen.
