Renewables push sends NT airport solar
A SOLAR farm will help power the Darwin International Airport from March, offsetting about a quarter of the airport's annual energy consumption.
DARWIN International Airport will be flying solar next year with a $13 million investment in renewable energy.
A SOLAR farm containing 16,000 panels will offset about a quarter of the airport's annual energy consumption, saving $1.5 million in power bills each year, NT Airports says.
