NT wraps up holiday roads operation
ALMOST six drivers per day were booked for drink-driving in a 13-day roads operation in the Northern Territory over the festive season.
AN average of 10 drivers per day have been caught speeding by Northern Territory Police during a two-week road safety operation.
A TOTAL of 133 drivers were booked for speeding during the 13-day operation over the holiday period, and 75 drivers - or almost six per day - tested above the blood alcohol limit, one-third of those high-range.
