NT skies to host Pitch Black
ABOUT 2300 personnel from seven countries will join together in the NT for three weeks of Australia's largest air force exercise, Pitch Black.
RESIDENTS of the Top End are preparing their earplugs and locking up their pets as 100 aircraft from seven countries begin Australia's largest air force training activity.
EXERCISE Pitch Black runs every second year, and from Friday will feature the Australian, New Zealand, United States, Singaporean, Thai, United Arab Emirates and New Caledonian air forces participating in battle simulations until August 22.
