NT minister tells of son's ice battle
THE NT Police Minister has spoken out about his son's battle with the drug ice and the toll it has taken on his family after drugs were found in his car.
IT was when his son pawned his wife's wedding ring to pay for his ice addiction that Northern Territory Police Minister Peter Chandler had enough and threw him out of the house.
MR Chandler has spoken out over the weekend about the heartbreaking toll the drug ice, or methylamphetamine, has taken on his own family as his 21-year-old son Brandon struggles with addiction.
