Cots fail to meet safety standards

SEVERAL cot suppliers have announced recalls this year, with the latest model being a sleigh-style bed sold by an online retailer.

A COT the consumer watchdog says could trap or suffocate children has been recalled, bringing the number of cot suppliers to withdraw their products this year to 10.

THE Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) warned people this week to stop using the Virginia 3-in-1 Wooden Sleigh Cot in white, which is sold by Baby-Direct.com.au.
