Cops make public appeal in hunt for Cabramatta hit-and-run driver
Cops have released CCTV images after a car drove into a man in Sydney’s southwest before fleeing the scene.
CCTV images of a car believed to be allegedly involved in a Sydney hit-and-run last weekend have been released as police hunt for the driver.
Two men and a woman were walking across a road in Cabramatta when a vehicle struck one of the men about 10.10pm last Sunday, November 8.
The impact caused the 27-year-old man to fall onto Cabramatta Road East, where he suffered a laceration to his head.
He was taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop or render aid.
Images released a week after the incident show a red Lexus driving on nearby Boundary Lane and the intersection with Railway Parade.
“Police would like to speak to the owner/driver who they believe may be able to assist with the investigation,” NSW Police said in a statement.
Police are also seeking dashcam footage from vehicles travelling along Cabramatta Road between 10.10pm and 10.25pm on Sunday, November 8.
