Helicopter footage has captured the moment two men were taken down by police after a wild car chase through Brisbane’s south.
Two men, 18 and 37, have been hit with a raft of charges over the joy ride, which ended in a dramatic arrest on a suburban roof.
The men are alleged to have broken into a home in Willawong at 2.15pm on Thursday by smashing a window.
After being disturbed by members of the public, they are said to have fled in a stolen white Nissan Navara ute.
PolAir footage tracked the vehicle, tailed by multiple police cars, as it sped through Forest Lake.
The ute can be seen dodging cars, speeding through intersections and clipping a van, which caused it to lose part of its bumper.
A tyre deflation device was deployed, causing the ute to stop outside a house in Camira, near Ipswich.
One of the car occupants is seen climbing onto the roof of the property before surrendering.
