Ban coming on sale of leaded fuel in NT

THE Indigenous Affairs Minister will soon sign a prohibition order that bans the sale of leaded or sniffable fuel in the NT's Barkly district.

SOON it will be illegal to sell leaded fuel in Tennant Creek, the federal indigenous affairs minister says.

NIGEL Scullion on Tuesday announced he would soon sign a prohibition order banning the sale of any leaded fuel in the Barkly district of the Northern Territory, in a bid to fight petrol sniffing.
