Alice Springs in shock over deaths

RESIDENTS of Alice Springs have expressed their shock over the deaths of young mother Karlie Pearce-Stevenson and her toddler daughter Khandalyce.

ALICE Springs appears to have closed ranks after the revelation that bodies found in NSW and South Australia were that of former resident Karlie Jade Pearce and her daughter Khandalyce.

ON Thursday, friends of the family declined to comment to media, with one man saying the news had "hit too close to home".
